The trail to Snowmass lake and Trail Rider pass crosses Snowmass creek
at 6.6 miles from the trailhead, at the outlet to a large and beautiful lake.
The creek can either be forded (the water is absolutely still but
quite deep) or crossed via this rickety logjam...
