Back to day hikes in the Beartooths Silver Run peak rises behind Lake Mary, in the Absaroka-Beartooth wilderness
of Montana near Red Lodge. The lake is a short but steep side trip from
Quinnebaugh Meadows, about 6 miles from the trailhead along the West Fork of Lake Creek.
